ALEKSANDER was born in kazan, russia. he graduated from veterinary university and became a model and a multimedia artist, mainly working with experimental poetry, digital art and performance. he draws inspiration from fashion, conceptual art, design, philosophy, psychology and biology.
in his art practice, he explores topics like identity, duality, digital likenesses, gender in social constructs, spirituality and self-awareness. he has exhibited his calligraphy, sculptures and digital art in various projects and galleries in russia, south korea and france. in japan he studied butoh ( japanese avant-garde dance form) and noh theatre and is a member of the dance collective saad in moscow. also, in moscow, he is curating poetry events.
he loves to collaborate with fashion brands. he has done art and movement direction for some brands in japan. aleksandr calls himself creative, a bit timid, always alone, loving silence and walking. his favorite artists are roman opalka and jean dubuffet.
