PAUL boche, born and raised in eisenach, began his international career as a high-fashion model in 2004 at the age of 17. for 25 years, he has worked at the highest level, walking the runways of paris, milan, london, new york, tokyo and berlin. he has fronted campaigns for renowned designers including alexander mcqueen, john galliano, dries van noten, jean paul gaultier, kenzo and hugo boss, among others. in 2006, he moved to new york to study acting at the prestigious lee strasberg theatre & film institute, training with george loros and roberta wallach. during this time, his artistic focus increasingly shifted toward film and television. he made his feature film debut in uns geht es gut (2014, dir. henri steinmetz) alongside franz rogowski and jonas dassler. after appearances in projects such as fucking berlin, he went on to lead several short films, including one sunday and the award-nominated f for freaks. in 2016, he took on his first leading role in a feature film in zazy (dir. matthias x. oberg), opposite ruby o. fee. further credits include notes of berlin (2020/2021) and, in 2025, a supporting role in karoline herfurth’s box-office hit wunderschöner. boche has also established himself in television, with appearances in soko stuttgart, ein fall für doktor abel, the ard miniseries the next level, and internationally in three episodes of the bbc series sas: rogue heroes (2021). most recently, he appeared in a major supporting role in the crime series hagen benz – das böse in dir. in 2026, der heimatlose (dir. kai stänicke), in which paul boche plays the male lead hein, celebrated its world premiere in the perspectives competition at the 76th berlin international film festival. he previously attended the berlinale with the short film rondo. alongside his work in front of the camera, he is developing his own material as a screenwriter and executive producer. his project pretty young lost has already received script development funding from medienboard berlin-brandenburg and mdm – mitteldeutsche medienförderung.
