SAMUEL was born in melbourne, australia in 1992. he started dancing at the age of eight and eventually graduated from the australian ballet school in 2013. after graduation he moved to europe to pursue his dance career.
from 2014 until 2015 he was a corps de ballet member of the slovak national ballet, bratislava. pereira then joined tanzcompany innsbruck, austria from 2015 until 2018 as a soloist. in 2018 he joined the ballet l'opera de lyon where he worked until 2022.
pereira has danced a wide variety of renowned works by choreographers including pina bausch, william forsythe, jiri kylian, trisha brown, marius petipa and merce cunningham ai. he has toured their works around europe and worldwide.
he is now split between berlin and france as freelance dance artist and continues to work and collaborate with choreographers and performance artists.
